Crumbs beggarology 101

In a polygamous society, you are bound to meet women who are wearing the “outside of the box” labels – the girlfriends of married men, the second wife, the third even the fourth. Apparently, even cab drivers are having more than one wife in this city, so the rule of thumb that a man can only take on a second wife (or a third) must be able to afford maintaining multiple households is merely a rule of thumb but not necessarily a key rule that the men are abiding by. My cold version of the rule of thumb is -- as long as the man has enough money, love and cum to go around he may take on another wife. I have heard of scenarios where all the wives and the children are living under one roof. That type of arrangement is quite rare and not as prevalent as a man maintaining two or three separate households.

There are a few things a girl should mentally prepare herself when dating a married man. In a society such as mine, it is not unheard of; in fact it is common place. Someone with a nobler set of principles will squirm and find it absurd. Being a girlfriend to a married guy, or being #2, one has to endure the constant feeling of being almost like a beggar - for his time.

There is no fairness in having to share a man in my mind but what makes it twice unjustly is when you are not able to depend on him to be there in your time of need. Although asking for a blessing from the existing wife/wives (which basically means that he has to spill) is an expected courtesy, there are instances where the man is cowardly and resort to not telling. For the new wife, this nightmarish scenario is what I would call feeding on crumbs.

There is no use denying the fact that it is happening. What can be done is to empower our women to be wiser in protecting their rights to their own happiness.
